Dr. Khayata is a distinguished physician with extensive expertise in Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and Pain Medicine. After completing his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in the Chicago area, he advanced his training with fellowships in critical care and pain medicine in Massachusetts. Dr. Khayata is triple board-certified, underscoring his commitment to excellence in his field.

In 2006, he joined the University of Massachusetts' Department of Anesthesiology, where he played a pivotal role in educating medical students and training residents. As the Chief of Acute Pain Service at UMASS Memorial University Hospital from 2007 to 2016, Dr. Khayata was instrumental in advancing pain management practices. His dedication to clinical research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School earned him the title of Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Surgery.

Dr. Khayata is passionate about treating both acute and chronic pain conditions, and in 2016, he relocated to Northern Virginia to fulfill his vision of creating an interdisciplinary pain management program. He is a strong advocate for personalized medicine and embraces new technologies and treatments to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
